About
As a child with a creative imagination, I always loved putting pen to paper to write as well as draw. Writing and creating has always been a passion of mine and now, as a married mum-of-one, I decided that it was time to start my journey into the world of self-publishing to finally achieve my dream. I have created a series of children’s books to delight, inspired by my daughter. I have also created planners and journals to help in juggling family life and personal goals, as well as illustrated most of the non-book items on this site.
The "Emily's Adventures" Picture Book Series
Did you ever love a book or concept so much that it shaped quite a lot of your mind and the way you process or think? Well, that is what happened with me. I loved puzzle books, reading and especially, the picture books where you had to find hidden items.
The last concept, along with my love of creating, went into the Emily’s Adventures series. So, on top of a sweet, short story or lesson in the books, kids have a chance to go back through the books and find ‘hidden’ pictures. This helps with developing imagination, focus and the ability to spot a solution quickly.
Not only are these picture books full of vibrant colours and easy-learning words to start their reading journey, kids will be able to spend quality time with mum or dad, reading and looking for the hidden items.

When my daughter was three years old, she was bullied in pre-school by three very boisterous boys. Her behaviour changed overnight. She couldn't tell us what was happening and it manifested with her having screaming, crying fits. Not something you should have to ever consider dealing with as a parent of a toddler. She was my inspiration for Stressy Jessie. This way, she can possibly understand what she and other people have experienced. It is also to let her know that there is nothing wrong with her and that she did nothing wrong. My daughter loves "Stressy Jessie And Friends", so I know other kids will too.
I have also created several other books on emotions for toddlers so that they can start to recognise each one and differentiate between them.
All of my books have had some kind of inspiration behind them. From "The Monsters Are Scared Of Mommy", which started after a conversation my husband had with my daughter, to "Fatty Cat", who rules his home (just like my two cats do).
I also illustrated all of the images you see on the canvas prints and the greetings cards in my store.

Thank you for coming to my site today. Indie authors work hard for their recognition. I hope you enjoy looking around and please know that, even if you do not purchase anything, I appreciate that you were here!
